Yoshihiro Yonekawa, MD

I feel very honored to be a part of the Michels Fellowship family. We're now in Philadelphia, where I work as an adult and pediatric vitreoretinal surgeon with the amazing team at Wills Eye Hospital / Mid Atlantic Retina. I'm fortunate to serve in editorial roles with RETINA, JVRD, OSLI Retina, Graefe's, JAAPOS, Review of Ophthalmology, RETINA Roundup , vitbucklesociety.org/vit-buckle-academy, writing a book, working closely with ASRS on several committees, and having a blast serving on the Vit Buckle Society board.

Outside of the clinic and operating room, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife, three awesome boys and daughter, and our dog Snowy.
