Ron P Gallemore, MD, PhD
I am an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA School of Medicine and the Founder and Director of the Retina Macula Institute and Research Center with offices in Torrance and Los Angeles. I have 3 associates and 40 staff members. In addition to disorders of the retina, macula and vitreous, we have a fellowship trained uveitis specialist and also do ocular tumors as well as neuroophthalmology.
We focus on clinical research and continue to publish each year. We have had a number of investigator sponsored trials over the years and have completed over 70 clinical trials in both retina and uveitis. We develop new approaches to managing sight threatening disorders. I am the founder of Macula Science, an ocular vitamin development and distribution company, and the nonprofit, Preserve Vision and Hope | nonprofit | 4201 Torrance Boulevard, Torrance, CA, USA .
I enjoy hanging with the family, ocean sports (surfing, SUPing, foiling, prone and stand up paddle racing), coaching the kids sports, golf, and cooking with my wife, Brianna.
