John D Pitcher III, MD

I have been in practice since 2014 at the Retina Center of Eye Associates of New Mexico in my hometown of Albuquerque. At this location, in addition to patient care, I am principal investigator on multiple ongoing clinical trials for retinal diseases. I am the Medical Director of the Vision Research Center at Eye Associates of New Mexico. I have taken on additional admin roles as Vice President of our 500+ employee company. I also serve as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of New Mexico, and am serving on the board of the Juliette RP Foundation. I was elected to the Retina Society in 2018.

Any free time I have is spent coaching baseball, basketball, or tennis for my 8 year-old daughter and our 6-year-old twin boys.
